Well I bought the D700 yesterday. Had to do it. Fills the hole in my photographic soul. Full-frame 24x36mm goodness. Great wide angle, and fantastic pixel accuracy. This to me is like going from 35mm to medium format, something I was about to do around 2001 until the whole digital revolution swept me up.
