New North Terminal at Detroit Metro Airport

Finally, in about 2 weeks, the end of the horrid Smith Terminal will come. Smith Terminal was reason enough for me to pay any extra amount of money to fly Northwest instead of another airline. Also, next month, Delta Airlines shareholders will vote on the possible merger with Northwest. I hope it doesn't mess up what I thought was a pretty good deal with Northwest and it's non-stop flights to everyplace I need to get to in this country, including little old Bristol Tennessee and it's most awesome night race that happens every August. An old friend from high school, Diane Zietlow, as far as I know, is still a flight attendant with Delta, and I hope her job is safe in this deal
